The Day and the Hour
What Do the Scriptures Say?
"You shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself,
seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths
of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall
cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day
of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall
make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.
[September 22, 2007] And you shall consecrate the fiftieth
year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all
its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of
you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall
return to his family. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee
to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of
its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended
vine. For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you
shall eat its produce from the field. In this Year of
Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession
(inheritance)." Leviticus 25:8-13 NKJV.
Fact: The Father gave
us the Christian reckoning of the Jubilee, from the
beginning of the Reformation, October 31, 1517, which makes
our 50th year to begin at midnight on October 31, 2007. We
are to announce "liberty" though out all the land at that
time. Every man is to return to his inheritance. THIS is
what the Scriptures say. It begins at
midnight.
"As God spoke the day and the hour of Jesus' coming, and
delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, He spoke
one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling
through the earth. The Israel of God stood with their eyes
fixed upward, listening to the words as they came from the
mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals
of loudest thunder. It was awfully solemn. And at the end
of every sentence the saints shouted, "Glory! Alleluia."
Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God;
and they shone with the glory, as did the face of Moses
when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on
them for the glory. And when the never-ending blessing was
pronounced on those who had honored God in keeping His
Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the
beast and over his image.
"Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I
saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory, and shake
off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was
in confusion, and knew not what to do; for the wicked could
not understand the words of the voice of God.
"Soon appeared the great white cloud. It looked more lovely
than ever before. On it sat the Son of man. At first we did
not see Jesus on the cloud, but as it drew near the earth
we could behold His lovely person. This cloud, when it
first appeared, was the sign of the Son of man in heaven.
"The voice of the Son of God called forth the sleeping
saints, clothed with glorious immortality. The living
saints were changed in a moment, and were caught up with
them into the cloudy chariot. It looked all over glorious
as it rolled upward. On either side of the chariot were
wings, and beneath it wheels. And as the chariot rolled
upward, the wheels cried, "Holy," and the wings, as they
moved, cried, "Holy," and the retinue of holy angels around
the cloud cried, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty" And
the saints in the cloud cried, "Glory! Alleluia!" And the
chariot rolled upward to the holy city. Jesus threw open
the gates of the golden city, and led us in. Here we were
made welcome, for we had kept "the commandments
(instructions) of God," and had a "right to the tree of
life." Revelation 14:12; 22:14." {CET 95, 96}
Deliverance of the
Saints
"It was at midnight that God chose to deliver His people.
As the wicked were mocking around them, suddenly the sun
appeared [in the balances, in judgment], shining in his
strength, and the moon stood still [in Cancer the sign of
sealing]. The wicked looked upon the scene with amazement,
while the saints beheld with solemn joy the tokens of their
deliverance. Signs and wonders followed in quick
succession. Everything seemed turned out of its natural
course. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came
up and clashed against each other. But there was one clear
place of settled glory, whence came the voice of God like
many waters, shaking the heavens and the earth. There was a
mighty earthquake. The graves were opened, and those who
had died in faith under the third angel's message, keeping
the Sabbath [year], came forth from their dusty beds,
glorified, to hear the covenant of peace that God was to
make with those who had kept His law.
"The sky opened and shut and was in commotion. The
mountains shook like a reed in the wind and cast out ragged
rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot and cast out
stones upon the land. And as God spoke the day and the hour
of Jesus' coming and delivered the everlasting covenant to
His people, He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while
the words were rolling through the earth. The Israel of God
stood with their eyes fixed upward, listening to the words
as they came from the mouth of Jehovah and rolled through
the earth like peals of loudest thunder. It was awfully
solemn. At the end of every sentence the saints shouted,
"Glory! Hallelujah!" Their countenances were lighted up
with the glory of God, and they shone with glory as did the
face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked
could not look upon them for the glory. And when the
never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had
honored God in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty
shout of victory over the beast and over his image." {EW
285.2}
"It is at midnight that God manifests His power for the
deliverance of His people. The sun appears, shining in its
strength. Signs and wonders follow in quick succession. The
wicked look with terror and amazement upon the scene, while
the righteous behold with solemn joy the tokens of their
deliverance. Everything in nature seems turned out of its
course. The streams cease to flow. Dark, heavy clouds come
up, and clash against each other. In the midst of the angry
heavens is one clear space of indescribable glory, whence
comes the voice of God like the sound of many waters,
saying, "It is done." Rev. 16:17. . . .
"That voice shakes the heavens and the earth. There is a
mighty earthquake, "such as was not since men were upon the
earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." Rev. 16:18.
. . . The whole earth heaves and swells like the waves of
the sea. Its surface is breaking up. Its very foundations
seem to be giving way. . . .
"Graves are opened, and "many of them that sleep in the
dust of the earth . . . awake, some to everlasting life,
and some to shame and everlasting contempt." Dan. 12:2. All
who have died in the faith of the third angel's message
come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God's covenant
of peace with those who have kept His law.
"Those who had died in faith under the third angel's
message, keeping the Sabbath, came forth from their dusty
beds.
"They also which pierced him" (Rev. 1:7), those that mocked
and derided Christ's dying agonies, and the most violent
opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold
Him in His glory, and to see the honor placed upon the
loyal and obedient. . . .
"The voice of God is heard from heaven, declaring the day
and hour of Jesus' coming, and delivering the everlasting
covenant to His people. ... And when the blessing is
pronounced on those who have honored God by keeping His
Sabbath [year] holy, there is a mighty shout of victory."

The Resurrection to
Immortality
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1
Thess. 4:14.
To the believer, Christ is the resurrection and the life.
In our Saviour the life that was lost through sin is
restored; for He has life in Himself to quicken whom He
will. He is invested with the right to give immortality.
The life that He laid down in humanity, He takes up again,
and gives to humanity.
When Christ comes to gather to Himself those who have been
faithful, the last trump will sound, and the whole earth,
from the summits of the loftiest mountains to the lowest
recesses of the deepest mines, will hear. The righteous
dead will hear the sound of the last trump, and will come
forth from their graves.
All come forth from their graves the same in stature as
when they entered the tomb. Adam, who stands among the
risen throng, is of lofty height and majestic form, in
stature but little below the Son of God. He presents a
marked contrast to the people of later generations; in this
one respect is shown the great degeneracy of the race. But
all arise with the freshness and vigor of eternal youth. .
. . The mortal, corruptible form, devoid of comeliness,
once polluted with sin, becomes perfect, beautiful, and
immortal. . . . Restored to the tree of life in the
long-lost Eden, the redeemed will "grow up" to the full
stature of the race in its primeval glory. . . .
The living righteous are changed "in a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye." 1 Cor. 15:52. At the voice of God
they were glorified; now they are made immortal, and with
the risen saints are caught up to meet their Lord in the
air. . . . Little children are borne by holy angels to
their mothers' arms. Friends long separated by death are
united, nevermore to part, and with songs of gladness
ascend together to the city of God.
All the precious dead, from righteous Abel to the last
saint that dies, shall awake to glorious, immortal life."
{FLB 183.6}
Note: These statements cannot be made into a picture in the
mind. For one to imagine it, is to get it wrong. But these
events will take place in their time and place. What is
plainly stated in time is that it is at midnight when God
delivers His people. The deliverance is a different time
than the actual leaving from earth. These things occur at
the last trumpet. That trumpet is the jubilee trumpet.
Interesting
Illustration in Time:
Solomon began reigning 480 years after the children of
Israel came out of Egypt. (I Kings 6:1) That would
correspond to 1997 for us, which was 480 years since the
beginning of the Reformation. True Christianity left Egypt.
In his fourth year [our year 2000], the foundation of the
temple was laid. This corresponds to the coming of Messiah
when the foundation for the deliverance was laid. It was
the time for the foundation of the new temple. It took
Solomon 7 years [corresponding to our year 2007] to
complete the temple. Our 480th year was when we had the
Virgo camp meeting. It was the beginning of the reign of
Melchizedek (the King of Salem, the King of peace). In the
fourth year of Melchizedek the foundation was laid in
Messiah. It took seven years to complete the temple, and at
the end of the prophecy the temple will be dedicated. When
Solomon dedicated the temple, the glory of God filled the
completed temple with Himself. That time would correspond
to our Fall of 2007. This is when the glory of God fills
all who are measured as God's temple. Solomon's temple was
a historic illustration of the last days, and the timing
perfectly reflects our own circumstances.
Our seven years began with the Marriage, The Song of
Solomon. It will end with the temple of Solomon. "Solomon"
comes from the Hebrew word, "Shalom." This word means
peace, but it can also be retribution, or judgment.
"The visitation [of God to this earth] of which I have been
speaking is the same as the day of retribution of which the
prophet Isaiah speaks in the words: “How fair upon the
mountains are the feet of the Herald who proclaims ‘shalom!
(peace),’ the Herald of good tidings who proclaims
‘salvation!’ who says to Zion, ‘Your God has now claimed
his kingdom!’” (Isa. 52:7), for the word shalom [Solomon]
may also be read SHILLUM, “retribution,” as who should say,
“All is hell!” rather than “All is well.” {The Dead Sea
Scrolls, The Jubilee Sermon, Melchizedek Text}
"And in the eleventh year [from when we saw the sign in
Virgo], in the month Bul [Oct, Nov], which is the eighth
month, was the house finished throughout all the parts
thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he
seven years in building it." 1 Kings 6:38.
Scriptural Events of
the Last Trump
"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1
Corinthians 15:52.
"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices
in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become
the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall
reign for ever and ever." Revelation 11:15
"Our text speaks also of sounding a loud trumpet blast
throughout the land on the tenth day of the seventh month
(Lev. 25.9). As applied to the Last Days, this refers to
the fanfare which will then be sounded before the messianic
king." {Dead Sea Scrolls, The Jubilee Sermon, Melchizedek
Text}
This is the same time
the judgment of retribution occurs:
"And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven,
clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and
his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of
fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set
his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the
earth, And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth:
and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was
about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto
me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered,
and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon
the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created
heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and
the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things
which are therein, that there should be time no longer
[prophecy ends]: But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of
God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants
the prophets." Revelation 10:1-7.
Note: This final judgment constitutes the seventh plague.
It is the time when the "hail sweeps away the refuge of
lies." There is no conceived judgment that could ever sweep
away the refuge of lies but the hail of God's deliverance
of His people. Nothing, including an atom bomb, could cause
the people to come awake. Nothing!
"And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for
an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay
the third part of men." Revelation 9:15. [Day and Hour =
judgment]
"And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the
Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the
land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in
the sight of the people. And Moses said, Thus saith the
Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from
the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even
unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the
mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a
great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there
was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. But
against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move
his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that
the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and
Israel." Exodus 11:3-7.
"It is in a crisis that character is revealed. When the
earnest voice proclaimed at midnight, "Behold, the
bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him," and the sleeping
virgins were roused from their slumbers, it was seen who
had made preparation for the event. Both parties were taken
unawares; but one was prepared for the emergency, and the
other was found without preparation. So now, a sudden and
unlooked-for calamity, something that brings the soul face
to face with death, will show whether there is any real
faith in the promises of God. It will show whether the soul
is sustained by grace. The great final test comes at the
close of human probation, when it will be too late for the
soul's need to be supplied.
The ten virgins are watching in the evening of this earth's
history. All claim to be Christians. All have a call, a
name, a lamp, and all profess to be doing God's service.
All apparently wait for Christ's appearing. But five are
unready. Five will be found surprised, dismayed, outside
the banquet hall.
At the final day, many will claim admission to Christ's
kingdom, saying, "We have eaten and drunk in Thy presence,
and Thou hast taught in our streets." "Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out
devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?" But the
answer is, "I tell you, I know you not whence ye are;
depart from Me." Luke 13:26; Matt. 7:22; Luke 13:27. In
this life they have not entered into fellowship with
Christ; therefore they know not the language of heaven,
they are strangers to its joy. "What man knoweth the things
of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so
the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." 1
Cor. 2:11.
Saddest of all words that ever fell on mortal ear are those
words of doom, "I know you not." The fellowship of the
Spirit, which you have slighted, could alone make you one
with the joyous throng at the marriage feast. In that scene
you cannot participate. Its light would fall on blinded
eyes, its melody upon deaf ears. Its love and joy could
awake no chord of gladness in the world-benumbed heart. You
are shut out from heaven by your own unfitness for its
companionship.
We cannot be ready to meet the Lord by waking when the cry
is heard, "Behold, the Bridegroom!" and then gathering up
our empty lamps to have them replenished. We cannot keep
Christ apart from our lives here, and yet be fitted for His
companionship in heaven.
In the parable, the wise virgins had oil in their vessels
with their lamps. Their light burned with undimmed flame
through the night of watching. It helped to swell the
illumination for the Bridegroom's honor. Shining out in the
darkness, it helped to illuminate the way to the home of
the bridegroom, to the marriage feast. {COL 412, 413}
TOKENS
"And it came to pass in
the fortieth year [2007], in the eleventh month, on the
first day of the month (November 1st), that Moses spake unto the children of
Israel, according unto all that the Lord had given him in
commandment unto them; After he had slain Sihon the king of
the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of
Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei: On this side
Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this
law, saying, The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb,
saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn you,
and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites,
and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in
the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the
sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon,
unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Behold, I have
set the land before you: go in and possess the land which
the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. [GO
TAKE YOUR INHERITANCE] Deuteronomy 1:3-8.
"They will be linked to God in an everlasting covenant
(Gen. 17:7, 19) and the Lord Himself will be their
inheritance and patrimony (Ezek. 44.28)." {Dead Sea
Scrolls, The Last Jubilee, Melchizedek Text}
It is exactly 40 days from the Day of Atonement until the
Jubilee year in the Christian calendar.
"So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house
royal in the tenth month [December], which is the month
Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign." Esther 2:16.
In the seventh year of the king's reign, in our December,
Esther was taken into the king.
"And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity,
in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month [December
14], that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto
me, saying, The city is smitten." Ezekiel 33:21. [Jerusalem
represents the earth (our earth) being "smitten" on that
day.]
"Now in the twelfth month [Christian Calendar date], that
is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when
the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put
in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped
to have power over them, (though it was turned to the
contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated
them;) The Jews gathered themselves together in their
cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus,
to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could
withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.
And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants,
and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the
Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. For
Mordecai was great in the king’s house, and his fame went
out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai
waxed greater and greater. Thus the Jews smote all their
enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and
destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated
them." Esther 9:1-5.
This little tokenous
event occurs after the deliverance by the king, when the
people of God were victorious over their enemies. By the
15th of December they were "blessed" because their enemies
could no longer threaten them. These dates prove nothing of
course, but the event is indicative of what happens after
the deliverance.
There is an interesting event in history that happened on
November 1st:
1952: U.S. detonates hydrogen bomb November 1st:
"On a remote atoll in the Pacific Ocean, the United States
successfully detonates Mike (Michael), the world's first
hydrogen bomb. The 10.4-megaton thermonuclear device, built
upon the Teller-Ulam principles of staged radiation
implosion, instantly vaporized an entire island and left
behind a crater more than a mile wide. The incredible
explosive force of Mike was also apparent from the
magnitude of its mushroom cloud--within 90 seconds the
mushroom cloud climbed to 57,000 feet and entered the
stratosphere. One minute later, it reached 108,000 feet,
eventually stabilizing at a ceiling of 120,000 feet. Half
an hour after the test, the mushroom stretched 60 miles
across, with the base of the head joining the stem at
45,000 feet. Its explosive power was more than 800 times
that of the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima in 1945.
In 1955, the Soviet Union detonated a hydrogen bomb on the
same principle of radiation implosion, and the world
started to live under the threat of thermonuclear war for
the first time in history."
The Feast of Trumpets
November 1 & 2, 2007
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh
month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a
sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy
convocation." Leviticus 23:24.
This is the Feast of trumpets. This will be November 1st
for us. It is the feast of announcing the beginning of new
things. The following descriptions of the Feast of
Trumpets, or "The Day of the Awakening Blast" from the
Internet were sent to me:
"Rosh Hashanah, or Biblically "Yom Teruah," is the
beginning of the Hebrew Civil Year. It falls on the 1st of
Tishri in the English month of September. Rosh Hashanah
(the Birthday of the World) is Biblically referred to as
Yom Teruah (the Day of the Awakening Blast). Literally, in
the Scriptures the day is referred to as Zikhron Teruah
(Memorial of Blowing). In English we refer to it as The
Feast of Trumpets. Rosh Hashanah/Yom Teruah occurs on the
new moon of the Jewish month of Tishri.
Scripturally, the twin silver trumpets are the instruments
blown on this Holy Day that falls on the first of the
month. Prophetically, the day is associated with
inscription in the Book of Life and the Resurrection of the
Dead.
Due to the fact that the day falls on the Rosh Chodesh/the
new moon, and the difficulty in spreading the word that the
Holy Day had arrived, the Jewish leaders made Rosh Hashanah
a two day event. In Biblical Times the people awaited the
day with much anticipation. Since Yom Teruah occurred on
Rosh Chodesh/the new moon, it's actual date was uncertain
until confirmation of the new moon sighting by two
witnesses. This is why the day is often referred to as the
day which only the Father knows." ["No one knows the day or
the hour."]
"Rosh Hashanah is never actually addressed by that title in
the Bible. It has several names, Zikhron Teruah - Memorial
of Blowing Trumpets; and/or Yom Teruah - Day of the Blowing
of the Trumpets."
Thirty days before Rosh Hashanah, beginning on 1 Ellul, the
Jewish people begin their time of preparation for the High
Holy Days. This time of preparation culminates on Yom
Kippur, the Great Day of Atonement. The forty days between
1 Ellul and Yom Kippur (10 Tishri) are a time of great
reflection for the Jewish people, as they prepare. [Our own
"40 days" is between September 22 and November 1st.]
The essential mitzvah (command) of Rosh Hashanah is to hear
the sounding of the shofar. The shofar soundings represent
three distinct themes;
1. The first sounding -- a long, straight blast is known as
the Tekiah; it is the sound of a King’s coronation.
(Reverence) This represents the Kingship of God. The
sounding of the shofar is recognition of the Kingship of
our Messiah. When a King was installed in Israel, the
trumps would blow to initiate the coronation celebration.
The sounding of the shofar should be a call to your heart
to re-establish the Messiah in His proper place, on the
throne of your Heart..
2. The second sounding -- three medium, wailing sounds,
known as the Shevarim, are representative of the sobbing of
a Jewish heart. As we reflect on the year gone by, we know
deep down that we've failed to live up to our full
potential, (Remembrance). In Messianic hearts (Jews and
Gentiles), this should also be the sober realization that,
while we have failed, we are under the blood of the
unblemished Lamb of God, who was sacrificed that we may
have eternal life with Him! If you believe that He is who
He says He is, then you will be broken before Him! During
the time of Yom Teruah we reflect on His Kingship and
realize our need for a Savior.
3. The third sounding -- 9 quick blasts in short
succession, known as Teruah is an alarm clock, arousing us
from our spiritual slumber. (Return) The shofar is sounded
during this feast as a wake-up call. We are called to be
ready. In Jewish thought, this is the day when God opens
the Book of Judgments. We must be prepared to meet God.
[This reminds us of the Ten Virgins all sleeping.]
This is from Bill Britton on the Jubilee:
"A trumpet is being put into the hands of a ministry that
has died to self and gone through the veil into the realm
of Life.... Hear me today, friends, and hear me good. There
shall be no release from corruption and death, for humanity
and creation, until a Body of saints follows Jesus into the
Holy of Holies, into the very presence of God... This
trumpet of Jubile is to be blown by the redeemed Body of
Christ. This is the work of the ministry for the saints of
God, and the reason for their perfection now (Ephesians
4:11-13). No angelic beings shall blow this trumpet or
sound the release of humanity from the bondage of
corruption. This honor has been given to the saints.
(Psalms 149:9). And all creation is waiting for and
groaning for the manifestation of this company of sons who
shall sound the trumpet and give them release."
Glorification and
Immortality
"And they that be wise shall shine (to gleam; figuratively,
to enlighten (by caution):—admonish, shine, teach, (give)
warn(-ing) as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and
ever." Daniel 12:3.
"The harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are
the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned
in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The
Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall
gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them
which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of
fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then
shall the righteous shine forth (be resplendent) as the sun
in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let
him hear." Matthew 13:39-43.
"Now there rises a cry of mortal agony...'He is the Son of
God! He is the true Messiah!'... Those who would have
destroyed Christ and his faithful people, now witness the
glory which rests upon them. In the midst of their terror
they hear the voices of the saints in joyful strains
exclaiming, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him,
and he will save us." [ISA. 25:9.]
Amid the reeling of the earth [VIEW], the flash of
lightning [SHOWING HEAVEN'S VIEW], and the roar of thunder,
the voice of the Son of God calls forth the sleeping
saints. He looks upon the graves of the righteous, then
raising his hands to heaven he cries, "Awake, awake, awake,
ye that sleep in the dust, and arise!".... Christ's
faithful ones will appear "in the beauty of the Lord our
God;" in mind and soul and body reflecting the perfect
image of their Lord. Oh, wonderful redemption! long talked
of, long hoped for, contemplated with eager anticipation,
but never fully understood.
The living righteous are changed "in a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye." At the voice of God they were
glorified; now they are made immortal, and with the risen
saints are caught up to meet their Lord in the air. Angels
"gather together the elect from the four winds, from one
end of heaven to the other..., and with songs of gladness
ascend together to the city of God.
On each side of the cloudy chariot are wings, and beneath
it are living wheels; and as the chariot rolls upward, the
wheels cry, "Holy," and the wings, as they move, cry,
"Holy," and the retinue of angels cry, "Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty." And the redeemed shout "Alleluia!" as
the chariot moves onward toward the New Jerusalem." GC

It is necessary to remind the people that we are to be
awake and ready for what the Father has for us, but we are
not to make charts and pictures of the events now. We are
in them, and how they look will be formed largely by how we
see things in our own experience. The view of things will
be formed by our own ability to receive the events and
understand them. I am not voicing a "spiritually speaking"
deliverance, but the deliverance is very definitely in the
spirit.
There are very definite
promises in regard to the new spiritual bodies, but these
promises do not delineate the precise moment of their
occurrence. What is very clear is the day and hour of the
blowing of the Jubilee trumpet. The Israelites blew their
trumpet ten days after the first of the year, on the Day of
Atonement.
